Overnight Oats Recipe

Overnight Oats

Besides providing a host of health benefits, overnight oats are rich in fibre and protein. In addition, they contain many vitamins and minerals, including manganese, phosphorus, magnesium, copper, iron, and zinc. As a result, overnight oats are good for your gut, as well as for your overall health.

Ingredients:

  • Oats (1 cup)
  • Almond milk or Soy milk (1 cup)
  • Chia seeds (1 spoon)
  • Any fruit ( blueberries, banana, strawberries)
  • Greek yoghurt (optional)

Instructions:

This overnight oats recipe is a healthy breakfast that can last for a week.  To start combine oats, almond milk, chia seeds and your choice of fruit.  Soaking allows the oats to absorb the liquid and soften them enough to eat uncooked. You only need to let the oats soak and rest in the fridge for 2 hours. The following day you have ready-to-eat oatmeal. The consistency is like pudding.
