The Seahorse class at Woodland Beachside just started their second inquiry project of this academic year – Once Upon a Time. They are introduced to the wonderful world of stories from traditional tales to contemporary stories. Not only do they have the chance to act out these stories in their plays, but they also create their own masks, props and puppets to make the stories their own. 

So far, the class used two well-known stories, The Smartest Giant in Town and The Gruffalo, to discuss what stories are for and the meanings behind them. They learned about storytelling and how to use this form of communication to share their ideas.
