MESSY PLAY WITH JELL-O

Our child from the Happy Valley campus loved the sensory room when he was coming to school for our Rollers programme, and so, mom recreated one of our sensory ideas from our Woodland Activity Letter and shared with us this lovely photo. He looks like he is having so much fun freeing his toys from the Jell-O!

Messy play is not only fun but also very beneficial as well! When he digs his fingers into the Jell-O he is improving his fine motor skills while discovering a new texture and smelling the scent of strawberries. New language is also introduced as his caregivers talk about the colour, smell, and sticky feeling of Jell-O while he is exploring. And of course, the sweet and delicious taste helps as well!
