The Moon Bears class love art and craft activities! Our collaborative art projects offer the class the opportunity to create a lasting project where all the children can participate in. Creating art, in any form, can help children learn and become more self-confident and independent. Giving the opportunity to focus on cooperation and communication rather than competition. Children learn to support and encourage each other whilst developing their social skills and interactions. Creating a collaborative art piece takes patience, respect and teamwork, which all are life skills.

The children were provided with various materials (ranging from glitter, sequins, buttons and beads) and tools (twigs, a variety of brushes, strings and more) with which they used to create their masterpiece. The finished piece is now displayed in our Arts and Sensory Room, making the room a colourful and positive environment.
