What do you do now?  
 
I work as a psychologist with Central Health and direct the Child Development Team.

 
Can you remember any of your teachers or friends? 
 
My mum told me that Lorraine was the Head of School, and my class teacher was either Mrs. Parkinson or Mrs. Longbottom.

 
What was your favourite activity or song? 
 
Apparently I enjoyed spending time in the playroom and hanging out with the two teaching assistants.

 
Can you tell me some of the things you love about your job? 
 
I love being able to spend time with different families and schools, helping them overcome different challenges and difficult situations. 

 
How would you describe Woodland in one word? 
 
Inspiring.  Woodland Pre-Schools have progressed so much over the years. It's great to see the group strengthen their teaching staff and implement new pedology for early years education.

What do you do now?  
 
I am a raw vegan chef and do private dinners and catering. 


Can you tell me some of the things you love about your job? 
 
The creativity - connecting the ones across the dinner table and making people happy and full with my culinary expertise.

 
Can you remember any of your teachers or friends?

What was your favourite activity or song? 
 
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
 

Can you tell me about one of your fondest memories of Woodland?
 
I remember getting a cake on my birthday and loved it, I still have a polaroid picture of me with the cake!
 

Do you have any fun or interesting experiences at Woodland that you would like to share with us?
 
I remember when I first joined Woodland I did not speak much English but all the teachers were so loving which made it easy for me to learn the new language. I also loved snack time.

 
Can you tell me some of the things you love about your job? 
 
The creativity, connecting people over the dinner table and just making people full and happy with my food. 

 
Would you send your children to Woodland? 

Yes. Life is full circle and my son is at Woodland Kennedy Town Pre-School and loves it!

 
How would you describe Woodland in one word? 
 
Home - Woodland is a loving creative space for children accordinly to my own experience with my son and also of what my mom used to tell me.

What do you do now?
 
I teach the Prep children here at Woodland Montessori Academy (Caine Road). I've been teaching at Woodland for over 7 years and loving it!

 
Can you tell me some of the things you love about your job?
 
I love teaching the children how to read and write and I am very proud of my success rate. They work very hard and it is very satisfying to watch them blossom during the year.

 
Can you remember any of your teachers or friends?
 
I was taught by Ms. Lorraine!  I went to GSIS for primary school, and 3 of my Woodland classmates did as well - we’re still in touch! 

 
What was your favourite activity or song?
 
I remember playing duck, duck goose and having snacks outdoors.

 
Can you tell me about one of your fondest memories of Woodland?
 
I don’t have one specific memory, but it alas makes my day hearing from previous students and knowing that they’re continuing to do well at their primary schools.

 
Do you have any fun or interesting experiences at Woodland that you would like to share with us?
 
We’ve had some wonderful field trips - I remeber once a trip didn’t work out the way it was planned and we ended up spending the morning at Jumping Jym in TST which was quite an experience!

 
Would you send your children to Woodland?
 
Absolutely, especially with the staff discount.

 
How would you describe Woodland in one word?
 
 Active!
